Our Story
MSFF is a group of private security firms based in Mombasa. The forum has been on the frontline in helping curb insecurity in the county by working closely with the County Administration- County Commissioner & Sub County Officers, the National Police Service and the National Intelligence Office
It was formed in June 2016 to bring all private security firms to provide a link between the Kenya police and private security providers. This is after a security meeting to discuss the insecurity in the county, with the Mombasa County Commissioner, Mr. Mohamed Malim at the County Commissioner’s Boardroom.
Mission
Create a secure coast region by working closely with the national and county security organs and promoting professionalism practices among the security firms
Our Objectives
- Enhancing security in the County by working together with County Administration- County Commissioner & Sub- County Officers, the National Police Service and the National Intelligence Service.
- Sharing information on insecurity in the county and ways of resolving them.
- Sharing of information on guard's employment records.
- Joint trainings on emerging security issues i.e. Terrorism.
- Corporate Social Responsibility.
Achievements
1.
Annual joint patrols on Easter holidays, Christmas and New Year festival’s season.
2.
Security enhancement during the August 2017 elections and the October 2017 presidential re- election.
3.
Sharing of information among the security firms by eliminating rogue employees
